ADUSA RELEASES QDRIVER QUEUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
New system interleaves, optimizes, multiple order channels into one queue.
Lombard, Ill. (September 17, 2009) –ADUSA, Inc. today announced the release of
its S4G™ QDriver queue management system. “With the increased use of kiosks and
mobile devices to self-order fresh foods in supermarkets, queue management has become
essential in helping retailers manage the flow of customer orders in high volume
environments,” said Juan C. Perez, president of ADUSA, Inc.
QDriver interleaves counter, kiosk, and mobile orders in one queue, so that all orders are
processed using a first-in-first-out model. Fresh Foods personnel process orders from touchscreens located in their individual departments, while customers can see their position in
the queue on large overhead monitors. Estimated wait times and order processing times are
calculated by the system using dynamic algorithms that adjust to real time conditions.
Added Perez, “With our queue management system, the retailer is assured that all order
channels flowing into the fresh foods operation are processed in the most efficient and
equitable way.”
