SCHNUCKS INSTALLS SELF-ORDERING KIOSKS

St. Louis-based grocer enhances service with Fresh Foods kiosks from ADUSA, Inc.

Lombard, Ill. (April 7, 2009) – ADUSA, Inc. today announced that Schnuck Markets, Inc., is the latest grocery chain to install its S4G™ Fresh Foods self-service kiosk. “Our Fresh Foods kiosk is a great fit for Schnucks. They have a long tradition of quality and service, and are continually looking for ways to enhance the shopping experience. Putting the customer in control of creating his or her own deli order is a natural extension of this approach and engages an increasing number of customers in a very positive way,” said Juan C. Perez, president of ADUSA, Inc.

The kiosk will enable Schnucks customers to self-order the full range of items available in the fresh foods area of the store including meats, cheeses, and a large variety of prepared salads, entrees, side dishes, sandwiches, and party trays.

“Our customers have responded very positively to the kiosks,” said Larry Maggio, director of marketing services for Schnucks. “The self-ordering kiosk not only reduces wait time, but also gives the customer more control over the selection of what goes into the order. The system lets customers recall their order history, offers product suggestions, and presents our products in a very attractive way with graphics and extensive informational content.”
