ADUSA OFFERS WEB-BASED DELI KIOSK SALES AND HEALTH-CHECK MONITORING
Clients can now log on to a secure portal and see how deli kiosks are performing
Lombard, Ill. (August 25, 2008) – ADUSA, Inc. has launched a subscription-based
web portal where its clients can go to see how their deli kiosks are performing. “The Deli
Kiosk Portal will serve two purposes: One, it will tally sales on each and every deli kiosk for
a given time period. Two, it will show the results of regularly scheduled health-checks that
we can perform on the kiosks to make sure they are fully operational and available for
customers to use,” said Juan C. Perez, president of ADUSA, Inc.
Supermarkets using ADUSA’s deli kiosks can sign up for one, or both, of the services. The
sales tracking service will show how each kiosk is performing from a total sales standpoint,
while the health-check monitoring service will alert a defined point of contact within the
client organization if a kiosk is not functioning properly. ADUSA clients will access both
services through a password-protected portal containing only their organization’s
information.
Added Perez, “We recognize that our clients need to, first and foremost, focus on their core
business, which is merchandising and selling groceries. We also see that IT organizations at
many of our client companies are really strapped for time. Put those two together and,
while these are tasks that can be performed in our system by our clients, on their own, it
made sense to us to try to take the effort off their hands. Ultimately, this type of proactive
approach is something that helps make the deli kiosks successful, so it’s in both of our best
interests.”
