Sunset Foods Deploys ADUSA Self-Service Solutions
Chicago area upscale supermarkets to use S4g™/Deli application to reduce lines at the deli and enhance customer service
by Juan Perez, president and chief technology officer, Adusa, Inc.
Lombard, IL, February 4, 2005 – Adusa, Inc., a leading provider of retail self-service solutions, today announced that Sunset Foods, a chain of upscale supermarkets in the Chicago area has selected the S4g™/Deli solution for deployment in its stores.
“We want to offer our customers the best possible products and services and that makes the self-service kiosk a natural fit for our stores.” Said Frank Lomoro, Vice President and General Manager for Sunset Foods. “Our delis are very busy, and so the kiosk will help to reduce lines and give our associates more time to interact with the customers that prefer the face-to-face approach.” Sunset Foods will start with Adusa’s Deli module, but will look to add additional self-service features in the future.
“Sunset is just a great supermarket operator. Their focus on the customer is really impressive.” Said Juan C. Perez, President and Chief Technology Officer of Adusa. “We have always said that our self-service solutions are a terrific supplement to customer service and it’s exciting to see a classic grocer like Sunset embrace that so strongly and validate it each and every day.”
